Salmon Arm Branch Renovation Closure: The Salmon Arm Branch is closed for renovations January 2-9. We will be open for limited services starting Thursday, January 10: Customers can pick up holds and return items, but the rest of the library will be closed. The library will RE-OPEN to the public on Monday, January 14. Find out more.
Lumby Branch Maintenance Closure: Due to building maintenance, the Lumby branch is closed and is expected to RE-OPEN on Tuesday, January 15.

Sign With Me Story Time
Join a deaf storyteller and a children's librarian for stories, songs, and rhymes presented in both American Sign Language and English. This program is welcome to attendees of all abilities. An interpreter will be present.
The last half of the program is dedicated to socializing; the library will supply a small snack and craft. Financial assistance provided by the Central Okanagan Foundation.

Westbank branch has a meeting room available for rent. With a theatre style set-up, the room has a seating capacity of 20-25.
The room is available on open days and rents for $40.00 for the first 2 hours and $10.00 per hour for each additional hour. Bookings are not confirmed until the rental fee has been paid.

Use our new study room for free. It has a seating capacity of up to 10 people.
The room is available during branch hours for a duration of 2 hours. It can be booked up to 2 days in advance.
The Westbank Friends of the Library, formed in February 2001, actively support the work of the library and its staff.
The monies raised from their book sales are used to buy non-budget items and to sponsor various programs and events that take place in the library.
The Friends also organize the popular Wednesday Evening Speakers Programs that take place in the library once a month during the winter/spring months.
